This Access Statement is a guide to help visitors decide if our cottage and facilities are suitable for their holiday requirements. If you would like any further information regarding accessibility, please contact us on 01559 364813
All visitors are welcome but due to structural constrictions and sloping terrain, the cottage may not meet some visitors’ access requirements. At each annual review we consider what further improvements can be made, subject to the physical limitations imposed by the nature of the land and building.
Beds in the cottage have non-feather pillows & duvets, with Egyptian cotton or poly cotton duvet covers, sheets & pillowcases.
VISITORS WITH IMPAIRED HEARING
The television in the cottage has teletext.
A Hearing dog for the hearing impaired is welcome at no additional charge.
VISITORS WITH IMPAIRED SIGHT
A Guide dog or Assistance dog is welcome again at no additional charge.
SMOKERS
The cottage is strictly "No Smoking". We will provide ashtrays for guests who would like to smoke on the patio outside the cottage.

Inside the cottage is a visitors’ guide to the facilities, information about the locality as well as other important information including contact numbers for the local emergency services and hospitals.

Some mobile phone networks have unreliable signals in the cottage and surrounding area.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Nearest bus stop on B4570 near Trewen School, approx ¼ mile from cottage. Bus services are restricted.
Nearest Railway Stations: Carmarthen (Swansea/Cardiff-London) 20 miles, Aberystwyth (Shrewsbury-Birmingham) 34 miles.
Taxi service available in Cardigan.
ON ARRIVAL
There is a parking area for three cars to the side of Min Y Graig 20 metres from the Cottage.
The approach to the cottage from the car parking area is on foot, via a sloping drive and a short set of steps (3 and 4 steps of varying depths) to a level gravelled area. It is possible to access the house from the parking area without using the road, via the back of the cottage however this involves a set of 11 steps and 2 gates.
Enclosed fronted porch, Double doors vary between 390mm and 400mm (total entrance area 800mm)
Main entrance 810mm opens into Dining area.
GROUND FLOOR:
DINING AREA has table height 770mm and 8 high back/moveable chairs, 3 wall lights, and a book case.
Level access through 840mm archway to rear hall
LOUNGE entered via an archway 680mm, has a two seater settee, and 6 tub chairs, remote controls for digital T.V.etc. 2 Table lamp, 3 wall lights, and small round coffee table.
KITCHEN has work surface height 910mm, sink with twist taps, cordless kettle, electric oven and hob, and centre 4 spotlights on strip.
From Kitchen, external door and step to patio with external lighting. Steps from patio joins pathway to car park area, and grassed garden area.
BATHROOM- entrance 680mm, Bath with twist taps and shower over, W.C. and wash basin with twist taps.
Bedroom 3 - entrance width 760mm, three single beds.
Bedroom 4 – entrance width 760mm, single bed.
FIRST FLOOR
STAIRCASE to first floor has single tread steps 640m wide, steeper than normal, 11 steps 200mm rise to landing area.
Bedroom 1 - entrance width 760mm, Double bed
Bedroom 2 - entrance width 760mm, King Size bed
GARDEN
Surface - level patio area and gently sloping lawn.
